I came to this museum looking for information on Acadian history (perhaps a book – I bought 3) and a beginning for researching my Acadian family roots. The people in the museum answered most of my questions … via tripadvisor member Jenthewren2014, Berthoud, Colorado

Archives, père Clarence d’Entremont (Les):
The Research Centre is located in the annex of the Musée des Acadiens des Pubnicos. The centre has acquired a large collection of documents on Acadian history from historian Father Clarence d’Entremont.

The Research Centre houses a collection of genealogical documents on most of the local family names, original land deeds, complete set of local French newspaper, old photographs, diaries and local stories, correspondences, etc. Included in the center are 5,000 books and periodicals in the library and also microfilms. Archives recognized by UNESCO.
